Product Details

Multi functional soft starterInstallation precautions
1. Do not install near heating elements;
2. The specifications of the motor should match the soft start;
3. It is strictly prohibited to connect capacitors to the soft start output terminal;
4. Leave enough space to ensure that cooling air circulates from the bottom to the top of the soft starter;
5. Ensure that no liquid or conductive material falls into the starter;
6. The protection level above the soft starter is IP00;
7. The protection level of the cabinet shall be at least IP23;
8. Ventilation should be ensured:
9. If ventilation is insufficient, forced ventilation devices should be added;
10. The soft starter itself is equipped with a cooling fan;
11. When the temperature exceeds 50 ℃, the fan automatically starts;
12. The fan stops working when the temperature drops to 40 ℃.

Multi functional soft starterMaintenance inspection:

1). Check if the control terminal screws are loose and tighten them with a screwdriver;

2) Is there any poor connection at the main circuit terminals; Are there any signs of overheating at the screw position.

3) Are there any damages to the power cables and control cables, especially if there are any cut marks on the surface in contact with the metal;

4) Has the insulation wrapping tape of the power cable nose fallen off;

5) Thoroughly clean the dust on the circuit board and air duct, preferably using a vacuum cleaner.

6) Long term stored soft starters must undergo a power on test within six months. When powered on, the voltage regulator should be used to slowly increase it to the rated value for nearly 5 hours, and it can be unloaded.

7) When conducting insulation tests on soft starters, all input and output terminals must be short circuited with wires before testing the protective ground. It is strictly prohibited to test the protective ground with a single terminal, otherwise there is a risk of damaging the soft starter.
