1. Use a monitor to control exposure to light
Firstly, adjust the monitor to a relatively standard state, and adjust this state at any time during shooting. The high-definition monitor has a waveform diagram, which is of practical significance for controlling the details of distinguishing bright and dark areas in exposure.
2. Automatic aperture control exposure
At this point, the automatic aperture is used as a light meter, and the photographer needs to have a particularly clear understanding of the dynamic range curve of the surveillance camera.
3. Zebra crossings control exposure to light
Zebra crossings typically operate within a signal level range of 90% to 95%. The high-definition surveillance camera is designed with two levels of zebra stripes, with the first level set at 70%, which is the amplitude of the 700 millivolt video signal level of 60% -65%. It is basically the level value of the video signal corresponding to the 23% reflectivity of yellow skin. Another type is a 100% zebra crossing, with 70% corresponding to gray areas in the image and 100% being bright areas.
