Other general recommendations for proper operation of pneumatic liquid pumps

Assembly position

In principle, MAXIMATOR pumps can be installed in any position, but the longest service life of seals is achieved in vertical pumps.

Port size is important!
Please note that only screws and pipes suitable for the pump pressure range have been installed.To ensure the operation of the pump (pressure and flow), the port size of the pump should not be reduced.

Drive air connection and initial operation

The pneumatic connection is located on the slide valve housing.As the second air drive connection of the non regulating pilot port on the S... D and G (SF) series, it must also be connected, not only to provide better pressure control, but also to be an ideal location for installing control instruments due to its small size.In any case, compressed air filters and water separators must be installed on the pump.The filter is equipped with a water separator, pressure regulator, control pressure gauge, and shut-off valve, which can be selected under "Air Control Unit C..." depending on the pump pipeline.

Due to the treatment with barium grease, the pump does not require an air lubricator.I have already used the lubricator once and strongly recommend continuing to use it.If only very dry air is available, an air lubricator is needed.

Working temperature of MAXIMATOR pump

Usually between -20 ° C and+80 ° C (standard).The pump with the - VE sealed version can operate up to.+60 ° C, reaching up to+80 ° C in the short term is acceptable.For outdoor services at temperatures of 0 ° C and below, special versions can be provided upon request.

Hydraulic oil

The normal operation and efficiency of a pump mainly depend on the quality of the hydraulic fluid used.We recommend using hydraulic oil with a viscosity between 46-68 cst, which is manufacturer hydraulic oil that complies with DIN 51524 T2;DIN 51519;ISO VG 46

Prior to the release of the series, the MAXIMATOR high-pressure valve in the 4500 bar/65000 psi series underwent extensive functional testing at 5000 bar/72500 psi.

Multiple valves are tested simultaneously, as shown in the figure.

The tested valve is continuously driven, which is beneficial for different pressure loads.

Therefore, the HP valve body, bolted joints, and HP seals are tested under pressure.

After frequent opening and closing, MAXIMATOR high-pressure valves have demonstrated their sealing and smooth operation.
