Dyes are substances that can color fibers and other materials, divided into two categories: natural and synthetic. Dyes are colored substances. But colored substances are not necessarily dyes. Dyes are substances that can attach a certain color to fibers and are not easily detached or discolored. Dyes are usually soluble in water, and some dyes require a mordant to allow them to adhere to fibers.

To make the dye adhere more fully to the dye substance, it is necessary to refine the dye material thoroughly, and the particle size of the material must reach a very fine state, so as to have coloring and not easily fall off or change color.
