Introduction to Stainless Steel Horizontal Chemical Centrifugal Magnetic Pump:
The overcurrent components are made of stainless steel or special steel, and the product adopts advanced hydraulic, efficient magnetic transmission structure, and novel appearance design to achieve the advantages of energy saving, safety and reliability, stable performance, space saving installation, and long service life of magnetic pumps
Application areas: High temperature mold temperature control, high and low temperature testing instruments, chemical equipment, template temperature control, TCU temperature control system, high temperature condensate water recovery, etc.
Circulating medium: Water, ethylene glycol, alcohol, thermal oil, hydrocarbon solution, silicone oil, glacier refrigerant, gasoline, dye, chemical solution and other liquids that do not contain particles or fibers.
Precautions for starting stainless steel horizontal chemical centrifugal magnetic pump
(1) Before starting the horizontal centrifugal pump, it is necessary to fill the pump with liquid until there is liquid flowing out from the top of the horizontal pump casing. At this point, close the outlet valve to ensure that the centrifugal pump starts with zero flow, preventing the motor from burning out due to overload during startup. Until the horizontal centrifugal pump is turned on, the outlet valve gradually adjusts to the required flow rate.
(2) During the operation of a horizontal centrifugal pump, it is necessary to regularly check whether there is any leakage in the packing layer that may cause heating and the tightness of the packing.
(3) When running a horizontal centrifugal pump, it is important to note that adjusting the inlet valve of the centrifugal pump cannot be used to regulate the flow rate. Doing so can cause cavitation, which can lead to vibration of the pump body and a decrease in flow rate. In severe cases, it can even cause the centrifugal pump to malfunction.
(4) When the horizontal centrifugal pump is stopped, the outlet valve can be closed first to prevent loosening of the impeller nut caused by liquid backflow. When the horizontal pump is stopped, the shaft can be manually rotated, and it is advisable for the liquid to leak out in drops. If the parking time is too long, the liquid in the horizontal centrifugal pump and pipeline can be drained to prevent rusting and winter freezing of the horizontal centrifugal pump.
(5) When the flow rate needs to be changed, it can be controlled by adjusting the degree of opening and closing of the outlet valve, which will increase fluid resistance and consume some power. However, rapid adjustment of the flow rate can be achieved to continuously adapt to production needs.
Installation and maintenance:
1. Prepare the concrete foundation according to the basic dimensions and embed the anchor bolts accordingly;
2. Before installation, the pump and motor should be inspected, and all parts should be undamaged. There should be no debris inside the pump;
3. Place the unit on the foundation and place a pair of wedge pads between the bottom plate and the foundation. Adjust the wedge pads to align the level of the pump. After adjustment, tighten the anchor bolts;
4. The suction and discharge pipelines of the pump are supported by additional brackets;
5. After installation, turn the coupling by hand to check for any rubbing or friction. If the rotation is easy and even without any movement, the installation is complete;
6. To prevent debris from entering the pump, a filter should be installed at the inlet with a filtration area 3-4 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline;
7. Pumps with high head should also be equipped with check valves on the outlet pipeline to prevent water hammer damage caused by sudden shutdown;
8. It is necessary to ensure that the installation height of the pump meets the cavitation allowance of the pump, and consider pipeline losses and medium temperature.
