The industrial stainless steel vortex magnetic pump adopts advanced hydraulic, efficient magnetic transmission structure, and novel appearance design to achieve the advantages of energy saving, safety and reliability, stable performance, space saving installation, and long service life of the magnetic pump
Characteristics of Industrial Stainless Steel Vortex Magnetic Pump
1) High head, low flow rate, with a specific speed generally less than 40.
2) Simple structure, small size, and light weight.
3) Having self-priming ability or achieving self-priming with the help of simple devices.
4) A head flow curve and a power flow curve with a drop.
5) Some vortex magnetic pumps can achieve gas-liquid mixed flow.
6) The efficiency is relatively low, generally ranging from 20% to 40%, with a maximum of no more than 50%.
7) The anti cavitation performance of vortex magnetic pumps is poor.
8) As the viscosity of the pumped liquid increases, the pump efficiency drops sharply, making it unsuitable for transporting liquids with high viscosity.
Maintenance and upkeep:
1. Check for any looseness in the stainless steel magnetic pump, pipelines, and joints. Rotate the stainless steel magnetic pump by hand to see if the stainless steel water pump is flexible.
2. Add bearing lubricating oil into the bearing body, and observe that the oil level is at the centerline of the oil gauge. The lubricating oil should be replaced or replenished in a timely manner.
3. Unscrew the water inlet plug of the stainless steel pump body and inject water (or slurry).
4. Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge, and inlet vacuum gauge of the water outlet pipeline.
5. Start the motor and try to see if the direction of rotation is correct.
6. Start the motor. When the stainless steel magnetic pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum pump, and gradually open the gate valve according to the appropriate pressure displayed. At the same time, check the motor load condition.
7. Try to control the flow rate and head of the stainless steel water pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the stainless steel water pump operates at a high efficiency point, in order to achieve significant energy-saving effects.
During the operation of stainless steel water pumps, the bearing temperature should not exceed 35C of the ambient temperature, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 80C.
If any abnormal sound is found in the stainless steel magnetic pump, it should be stopped immediately to check the cause.
When the magnetic drive pump needs to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.
11. Within the first month of operation, the stainless steel water pump should change the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and then change the oil every 500 hours thereafter.
12. Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure normal dripping inside the packing chamber (preferably dripping out).
13. Regularly check the wear of the shaft sleeve, and replace it promptly if there is significant wear.
When using a stainless steel pump in the cold winter season, after parking, the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body should be unscrewed to drain the medium completely. Prevent frost cracking.
15. If the stainless steel pump is not used for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble the pump completely, dry off the water, apply grease to the rotating parts and joints, and store them properly.
Installation and maintenance of industrial stainless steel vortex magnetic pump:
1. Prepare the concrete foundation according to the basic dimensions and embed the anchor bolts accordingly;
2. Before installation, the pump and motor should be inspected, and all parts should be undamaged. There should be no debris inside the pump;
3. Place the unit on the foundation and place a pair of wedge pads between the bottom plate and the foundation. Adjust the wedge pads to align the level of the pump. After adjustment, tighten the anchor bolts;
4. The suction and discharge pipelines of the pump are supported by additional brackets;
5. After installation, turn the coupling by hand to check for any rubbing or friction. If the rotation is easy and even without any movement, the installation is complete;
6. To prevent debris from entering the pump, a filter should be installed at the inlet with a filtration area 3-4 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline;
7. Pumps with high head should also be equipped with check valves on the outlet pipeline to prevent water hammer damage caused by sudden shutdown;
8. It is necessary to ensure that the installation height of the pump meets the cavitation allowance of the pump, and consider pipeline losses and medium temperature.
