Startup method
Current limiting starting: By controlling the conduction angle of the thyristor and gradually increasing the motor terminal voltage, the starting current is limited to 2-5 times the rated current to avoid the impact of high current on the power grid. It is suitable for scenarios with limited power grid capacity.
Voltage ramp starting: The voltage rises linearly from the initial value (such as 30% rated voltage) to full voltage according to a preset slope. The starting time is adjustable (0.5-60 seconds), which can reduce motor torque shock and extend the life of mechanical components. It is suitable for light or medium load equipment.
Sudden jump+current limiting start: Apply a short-term high voltage first to overcome the static friction of the load, and then perform current limiting start. This is suitable for heavy-duty situations that require overcoming significant static friction.
Sudden jump+voltage ramp start: On the basis of voltage ramp start, the sudden jump function is added. First, a brief high voltage is given, and then the voltage ramp is increased, taking into account the needs of overcoming static friction and reducing torque shock.
Current ramp start: The starting current gradually increases from the initial value to the set value, and the slope of the current rise is kept stable, so that the motor can start smoothly. It is suitable for loads with requirements for the rate of change of the starting current.
Double loop starting: It realizes dual loop control of current and voltage, as well as torque, and can adjust the starting parameters in real time according to changes in load, making the motor start more smoothly. It is suitable for various types of motor start stop control.

Overcurrent protection: Quickly cut off instantaneous overcurrent, with a response time usually less than 20ms, to prevent motor damage caused by excessive current due to faults such as short circuit or locked rotor.
Phase loss protection: When any phase is missing, the power supply is immediately cut off to prevent the motor from overheating during single-phase operation. The lag time of input phase loss protection and output phase loss protection are both less than 3 seconds.
Three phase current imbalance protection: When the deviation of the three-phase current is greater than 50%, it will operate within less than 3 seconds to protect the motor from the influence of unbalanced current.
Overheating protection: When the internal temperature of the soft starter rises to 80 ℃± 5 ℃, the protection will activate for less than 0.1 seconds; When the temperature drops to 55 ℃ (minimum), the overheat protection is released to prevent damage to components such as thyristors due to overheating.
Motor overload protection: Monitor the motor current, trip according to the inverse time characteristic when it exceeds the set value, and delay the action for 2 minutes when the rated current is 125%, to prevent the motor from burning out due to long-term overload.
Overvoltage protection: When the power supply voltage exceeds 130% of the limit value, the protection action time is less than 0.5 seconds; Otherwise, when the voltage exceeds the set value, the protection action time should be less than 3 seconds to prevent damage to the motor insulation caused by high voltage.
Undervoltage protection: When the power supply voltage is below 50% of the limit value, the protection action time is less than 0.5 seconds; Otherwise, when the protection action time is lower than the set value, it should be less than 3 seconds to avoid the motor running at low voltage.
Load short circuit protection: When a short circuit occurs in the load, it will operate within less than 0.1 seconds, with a current of more than 10 times the rated motor current of the soft starter, to protect equipment and circuit safety.
Other functions
Dynamic fault recording: It can record the ten most recent faults that have occurred, making it easy for users to find the cause of the fault and quickly carry out repairs and troubleshooting.
Soft parking function: After receiving a shutdown command, the thyristor gradually reduces the conduction angle from fully conductive to fully closed after a certain period of time, avoiding the problem of parking surge in inertial systems. For example, in pump stations, the "water hammer effect" can be avoided, and the parking time can be adjusted within a certain range.
Free parking function: The soft starter immediately cuts off the output, and the motor stops freely based on inertia, which is suitable for situations where the stopping speed is not high.
Communication function: It can provide Chinese upper computer software, support Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus DP, CANopen and other protocols, facilitate remote debugging and control by users, and achieve data exchange with PLC, DCS or SCADA systems.
Run optimization function
Intelligent bypass control: After the motor reaches the rated speed, it automatically switches to the bypass contactor for power supply, which can reduce the power consumption of the soft starter by 70%, lower the temperature rise of the thyristor by 20 ℃, reduce operating losses, and improve system efficiency.
Light load energy-saving function: When the load rate is less than 40%, the output voltage is automatically reduced to 80% of the rated value, and energy-saving is achieved by reducing the iron and copper losses of the motor. It is suitable for variable load equipment such as fans and pumps.
Terms of Use
Power supply: three-phase AC 380V or 660V ± 15%, 50Hz or 60Hz, the power capacity must meet the starting requirements of the soft starter for the motor.
Applicable motor: squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor, the rated power of the motor should match the rated power of the soft starter.
Environmental temperature: between -10 ° C and+40 ° C, relative humidity below 95% RH, no condensation, no flammable, explosive, or corrosive gases, no conductive dust, good indoor ventilation, and vibration less than 0.5G. At an altitude of over 2000 meters, downgrading is required for use.
