I. Overview

Intelligent cement slurry Vicat meter, cement consistency and setting time tester（Vicat apparatus）， Also known as cement consistency setting time tester. It is a testing instrument for the cement and concrete industry. Mainly used to detect the standard consistency, water demand, and setting time of cement paste.

The intelligent cement slurry Vicat meter is an innovative Chinese product designed and manufactured according to the technical requirements and relevant regulations of the Chinese standard GBT1346-2024 "Testing Methods for Water Consumption, Setting Time, and Stability of Cement Standard Consistency", which has independent knowledge.

This instrument is mainly suitable for Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement, volcanic ash Portland cement, composite Portland cement, and other types of cement specified to use this method.

The cement standard consistency slurry has a certain resistance to the sinking of the standard test rod (or test cone). To determine the required amount of water to be added to cement standard consistency slurries by testing the penetrability of cement slurries with different moisture contents.

The setting time refers to the time required for the standard consistency slurry to sink to a certain depth from the moment the cement is mixed with water until the test needle sinks into the cement standard consistency slurry.
