The B ü rkert 8228 inductive conductivity meter can be used in many industrial processes, where measurements are taken in corrosive or concentrated media such as acids, bases, or liquids with high salt content and a wide measurement range. Many application areas will emerge here, such as cooling water monitoring (e.g. for desalination control), industrial water treatment, or preparation and monitoring of cleaning media (e.g. in CIP processes). The 8228 equipment type offers two specifications: ● The first is a standard equipment with G2 'pipe interface for installing S020 type screw connections ● The second is a CIP equipment with ASME BPE compliant fixture 2' pipe interface (fixture 1.5 'is provided on demand).

By using the four electrode method (some models) or dual electrode method, combined with microprocessor technology, the accuracy can reach ± 0.5% FS (full range).
Support automatic range switching to adapt to different conductivity ranges (such as pure water 0-200 μ S/cm, seawater 0-200mS/cm).
Temperature compensation and display
Built in high-precision temperature sensor (such as PT1000), real-time monitoring of liquid temperature and automatic compensation.
It can switch between displaying the actual temperature or the conductivity value corresponding to the compensated temperature.
Data storage and transmission
The built-in memory can record hundreds of sets of measurement data (including timestamps), and supports exporting to computers or mobile phones through USB, RS232/485, or Bluetooth.
Some models support industrial protocols such as Modbus and HART, and can be connected to SCADA systems.
Intelligent alarm and diagnosis
Set upper and lower limit alarm thresholds, trigger audible and visual alarms when exceeding limits, or output control signals through relays.
The self diagnostic function can detect issues such as electrode contamination, power supply abnormalities, communication failures, etc., and display error codes on the screen.
Multi parameter measurement (optional)
The extended functions include TDS calculation (based on the conversion coefficient between conductivity and TDS), salinity measurement (for seawater or saltwater), resistivity measurement (for pure water detection), etc.
