The HTD-6-A100 six wire displacement sensor is mainly used for vibration monitoring of large rotating machinery such as steam turbines, water turbines, fans, compressors, oxygen concentrators, motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc. The vibration changes caused by reasons such as casing vibration, bearing vibration, rotor imbalance and misalignment, loose parts, damaged rolling bearings, and damaged gears can be measured in real-time.

Introduction:

Displacement is a quantity related to the movement of an object's position during motion, and the range of measurement methods for displacement is quite extensive. Small displacement is commonly detected using strain gauges, inductive sensors, differential transformers, eddy current sensors, and Hall sensors, while large displacement is measured using sensing technologies such as induction synchronizers, gratings, capacitive gratings, and magnetic gratings. Among them, grating sensors are increasingly widely used in industries such as machine tool processing and detection instruments due to their advantages of easy digitization, high accuracy (currently up to nanometer level resolution), no human reading errors, easy installation, and reliable use.

Working Principle:

A vibration velocity sensor utilizes the principle of magneto electric induction to convert vibration signals into electrical signals. It mainly consists of a magnetic circuit system, inertial mass, spring, and other components. There are fixed magnets and inertial masses in the sensor housing, and when we use spring elements, we can suspend them on the housing. During work, sensors can also be installed on the machine when it generates vibrations. If within the working frequency range of the sensor, the coil and magnet will undergo corresponding relative motion, cutting magnetic field lines, and generating corresponding induced voltage inside the coil, which is proportional to the vibration velocity value. Paired with secondary instruments, it can display the magnitude of vibration velocity or displacement, and also transmit it to other secondary instruments and AC voltmeters for measurement.
