Explosion proof chemical high-temperature extraction zirconia analyzer
1. Background of the case
The ethylene cracking unit of a large petrochemical enterprise needs to monitor the oxygen content in high-temperature cracking gas in real time to prevent safety accidents caused by peroxide combustion and optimize combustion efficiency. The cracking gas temperature is as high as 800 ℃, containing tar, sulfide and dust, and the site belongs to the * * Ex d IIC T6 explosion-proof area (chemical plant environment). Traditional electrochemical oxygen analyzers cannot withstand high temperatures and corrosion, so an explosion-proof high-temperature extraction zirconia analyzer * * is selected, combined with a heat tracing sampling system, to achieve accurate and stable online monitoring.
2. Technical solution
(1) Equipment selection
Analyzer model: (explosion-proof type, range 0-25% O ₂, accuracy ± 1% FS).
Explosion proof certification: Ex d IIC T6 (compliant with GB 3836.1-2010).
Sampling system:
High temperature vacuum pump: capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1600 ℃, with an exhaust flow rate of 1.5L/min.
Heat tracing pipeline: electric heat tracing (200 ℃ constant temperature) to prevent the condensation of acidic gases.
Multi stage filtration: ceramic filter (sulfur resistant)+cyclone dust removal.
(2) Installation and Debugging
Sampling point: cracking furnace outlet pipeline.
Explosion proof wiring: Explosion proof junction boxes are used, and signals are transmitted to DCS through safety barriers.
Calibration method: Automatically introduce 5% O ₂ standard gas for calibration every week to reduce drift errors.
(3) Fault handling
Problem 1: Dust clogging the filter leads to delayed response.
Solution: Add a blowback system that automatically cleans the filter element every 2 hours.
Problem 2: High temperature causes abnormal diffusion of reference gas.
Solution: Use dynamic reference gas technology to stabilize the potential output.
