Overview
Dry quenching coke waste heat boiler is a waste heat boiler device in the coking industry that uses inert gas as a medium to cool high-temperature coke, transfers the absorbed inert gas to the boiler, and then sends it into the coke oven for recycling by a circulating fan, achieving the physical sensible heat waste heat utilization of high-temperature coke. The heat carried away by the red coke in the thermal balance of the coke oven is equivalent to 37% of the heat required for heating the coke oven, and dry quenching coke can recover 80% of the heat from the red coke. During the dry quenching process, the heated circulating gas is exchanged by the waste heat boiler to produce steam. After the temperature of the circulating gas drops, it is recycled for effective utilization of the sensible heat of the red coke, and the recovered coke powder can be reused; Utilizing the high-temperature and high-pressure steam generated by the waste heat boiler to enter the steam turbine generator unit for power generation, ultimately converting the sensible heat of red coke into electrical energy, resulting in significant energy-saving and economic benefits. Dry quenching uses circulating gas to cool red coke in a closed dry coke oven, which can prevent harmful substances such as phenols, cyanide compounds, and sulfur compounds from corroding surrounding equipment and polluting the atmosphere during wet quenching. By collecting and processing the focusing powder, and finally discharging it into the atmosphere as highly purified flue gas, it is beneficial for environmental protection.
