working principle
The basic principle is similar to that of a pressure reducing valve, where high-pressure medium is filled into a larger chamber through a small hole to achieve pressure reduction, and pressure reduction is achieved by intercepting the flow. The diaphragm or piston has two sides, one is the outlet chamber and the other is the artificially given pressure. The valve stem and diaphragm (piston) that control the size of the small hole are connected. After a fixed pressure is given, the outlet chamber pressure will remain constant. The artificially given pressure can be provided by a spring, air source, or hydraulic source.
Using the principle of balance between spring force and pressure, the valve closes when the spring pressure is less than the air pressure; When the pressure is greater than the spring force, the compressed air under the rubber pressure regulating diaphragm exerts a force on the diaphragm, pushing it to arch upwards and leave the valve seat, allowing air to flow into the air chamber. At this time, the unloading piston moves under the action of air pressure, pushing the discharge valve away from the valve seat. The air filled into the air chamber by the air compressor is discharged into the atmosphere through the discharge valve and exhaust port, and the air compressor runs idle.

Mainly composed of valve body, piston, piston guide rail, built-in crank slider mechanism, seal, internal components, etc. By using a crank slider to drive the piston movement, an axially symmetrical annular flow channel is formed inside the valve body, effectively controlling the flow area and forming a flow channel with a decreasing cross-section from the inlet to the outlet, gradually increasing the fluid velocity. Through the porous holes in the circumferential direction, a jet collision is formed towards the center of the pipeline, achieving the purpose of energy dissipation, pressure reduction, and flow regulation.

It can meet various special adjustment requirements, and the adjustment function relies on a piston shaped valve plug moving axially (in the direction of water flow) inside the valve chamber to control the outlet area of the water flow.
Unlike the valve plates of butterfly valves or gate valves, the valve plug of piston valves moves along the axial direction (water flow direction), and the opening or closing device is in the shape of a piston. The water flow cross-section at any position inside the valve body is a circular structure.
