ExoDiscoveryIt is an easy-to-use desktop instrument used for rapid label free separation of nanoscale extracellular vesicles (EVs) from biological liquid samples. You can choose to place a disposable disc-shaped purification disc ExoDisc into the ExoDiscovery system, each containing an optimized protocol for separating extracellular vesicles, including exosomes, from cell culture supernatants or body fluids such as plasma, serum, urine, CSF (cerebrospinal fluid), etc. Each ExoDisc can separate EVs from biological samples in as short as 10 minutes. The complete EVs can be easily removed from the disk and prepared for downstream analysis, such as NTA (Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis Technology) SEM.TEM, Protein blotting, ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay), used for DNA/RNA preparation or sequencing of GPCRs. By utilizing proprietary fluid assisted separation technology (FAST), ExoDiscovery is able to easily, quickly, and gently separate complete EVs with high yield and purity, enabling the application of precision science to precision medicine.

principle
Tangential flow nanofiltration for microfluidic centrifugal devices
Each ExoDisc is a microfluidic centrifuge device equipped with six nanofilters for six independent separations. Each individual nanofilter is designed to maintain the flow of liquid through the membrane perpendicular to the direction of centrifugal force applied by the rotating disk. This is called tangential flow filtration, applied to advanced filtration devices used to filter fluids with many small particles. It can significantly reduce clogging and facilitate faster filtration, with the characteristics of high recovery rate and high purity. The unique FAST (fluid assisted separation technology) filtration greatly reduces the pressure applied to the entire nanofilter, allowing for gentle (<500xg) but fast and efficient filtration. The combination of advanced fluid technology programmed as ExoDisc's optimized design and ExoDiscovery system's centrifugal filtration will bring you convenience, allowing for fast, gentle, non clogging, and efficient separation of nanoscale EVs.
