ISOVLCL-3 is a voltage regulator board specifically designed for Enerpro SCR ignition boards. In a typical configuration, the voltage regulator board receives current and voltage feedback and command signals. The voltage regulator circuit drives the delay angle command signal of the trigger board to generate the output current or voltage specified by the command signal. The feedback signal of the voltage regulator board usually comes from a 0-50 mV current divider and a 0-4V DC full-scale voltage signal (provided through an external attenuator).

Isolation voltage and current feedback signals
Current and voltage feedback signals pass through Analog Devices AD202KN isolated amplifier (1500 Vrms, 2000 V peak) is electrically isolated from the regulator board.
• Load voltage or current limitation
Limit the difference between the amplifier response feedback signal and the corresponding limit command. The generated signal is SCR delay angle command signal SIG HI.
Automatic crossing of current and voltage limits
A diode or circuit provides automatic crossover between voltage and current limits.ISOVLCL-3 operates in current or voltage regulation mode, depending on which limit command is set to min.
• Overcurrent trip with automatic reset
The potentiometer installed on the board is set to the current trip level. Current trip reset soft start circuit; Its response time to overcurrent events is approximately 3 milliseconds. If the overcurrent condition persists, the current trip will automatically reset and trip, cycling continuously until cleared.
• Soft start and soft stop
The soft start circuit delays the command voltage to the gate of the trigger board by approximately Rise to the preset level within 2 seconds; Soft stop reduces commands in a similar way. You can specify other soft start times.
• Polarity reversal compatibility
The current and voltage feedback signals are processed by high-precision absolute value circuits, avoiding positive feedback and allowing operation in polarity reversal applications.

Proportional analog voltage and current signals can be obtained from dedicated connectors.
On board or off board voltage and current commands
Users can command the desired voltage or current level using potentiometers installed on the board or through externally applied voltage and current commands. There are multiple command voltage or current ranges to choose from, including 0-12 V, 0-10 V, and 4-20 mA.
