Overview

Coated connection cables are used for operation under conditions. Allied Wire and Cable stock non stick PTFE coated connecting wires, such as NEMA HP3 MIL-W-16878/4, MIL-W-16878/5, and MIL-W-16878/6, can withstand high temperatures, high frequencies, and other obstacles. These types of PTFE wires can exhibit long-lasting durability even under certain conditions.

Product Details

Coated connection cableIntroduction:

Designed to operate under specific conditions.

PTFE insulation used for connections and leads has many advantages. In addition to reliability, insulation materials also exhibit resistance to ultraviolet radiation, stress, chemicals, and mold growth. It is even non-toxic and biocompatible. PTFE coated wires are suitable for a wide frequency range and have a bending life. Compared to other insulation types used for hooks and leads, insulation on leads can also save space and weight. PTFE wire is even easy to install.

Used for high-temperature electronic applications or applications that require wear resistance. It has excellent resistance to heat aging, solder damage, flame retardancy, and moisture resistance. PTFE can resist solvents, oils, ozone, and other chemicals. Low power consumption, very suitable for high-frequency applications. Recommended for critical applications.

Conductor: Silver plated stranded copper wire

Insulation: extruded polytetrafluoroethylene insulation, wall thickness 0.010 inches (0.25 millimeters)

Temperature range: -65 ° C to+200 ° C (-85 ° F to+392 ° F)

Compliance: MIL-W-16878E/4 E type, MIL-STD-104, Compliant with RoHS through UL VW Flame testing and birdcage testing

Features: Excellent resistance to heat aging, solder damage, flame retardancy, and moisture resistance. Resistant to solvents, oils, ozone, and other chemicals. Low power consumption, very suitable for high-frequency applications.

Rated voltage: 600 VAC

Joint: Due to the nature of PTFE insulation, this product contains joints and is unlikely to be provided in a continuous length.

Coated connection cablePrecautions

1. Before using the product, pay attention to checking the product certificate to confirm whether the input voltage, output current, power, and supporting product requirements are consistent. Overloading is strictly prohibited;

2. The temperature during the use of wires and cables shall not exceed the long-term allowable working temperature of the wire and cable standards;

3. Be careful not to connect the cables incorrectly when connecting them;

4. Cable installation in different situations should be completed according to corresponding regulations and operating procedures, including maintenance and management in the later stage;
