EN 50288-7 standard instrument cables are used for the transmission of analog and digital signals in instrument control systems. According to IEC79-14 classification, they can be used in Group II Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments and cannot be directly connected to low impedance power sources, such as public power supply stations. Recommended for indoor and outdoor installation, brackets, trays, pipelines, dry and wet environments, not recommended for direct burial. Recommended for application in fire prevention measures for life and important property materials.
The basic design follows the EN 50288-7 standard
