A pressure reducing valve is a fluid control valve that reduces the inlet high-pressure fluid to the desired outlet low-pressure through regulation, and automatically maintains stable outlet pressure by relying on the energy of the medium itself. It is a throttling element with variable local resistance. The core function is to reduce and stabilize pressure, ensuring that the outlet pressure is not significantly affected by fluctuations in inlet pressure and flow rate

Core working principle

The pressure reducing valve achieves automatic adjustment based on the principle of force balance:

Basic mechanism: By changing the throttling area, the fluid kinetic energy and local resistance are altered, resulting in controllable pressure loss and achieving pressure reduction

Automatic voltage stabilization:

Increase in outlet pressure → increase in force on diaphragm/piston → push valve core towards closure → decrease in flow rate → decrease in outlet pressure

Reduce export pressure → Adjust the spring to push the valve core open → Increase flow rate → Raise pressure
