Customers often ask about how to choose a suitable drive device for electric ball valves. Let's talk about how to choose the appropriate drive device for electric ball valves.

The electric ball valve is composed of an actuator and a ball valve that have been assembled and debugged to drive the ball valve to move. At the same time, the mechanical position and opening information of the electric ball valve are fed back to the automation system to form an automation control unit. The connection voltages of electric actuators are AC220V, AC380V, and DC24V. When selecting an electric ball valve actuator, different actuators should be selected according to the valve body structure and process conditions to meet control needs. Usually, after determining the valve body structure, torque, and process environment, the following key elements need to be confirmed to determine the final actuator model and function:
1. The driving torque (angular stroke partial rotation and multi rotation) or thrust (straight stroke push-pull action) of the ball valve is increased by 30% of the rated driving torque of the valve to ensure sufficient torque to drive the ball valve action under abnormal conditions or when the driving torque is increased after long-term operation of the valve body structure.
