Process requirements

Grinding machine is a machine tool that uses grinding tools to grind the surface of workpieces. Most grinding machines use high-speed rotating grinding wheels to grind workpieces. The high-speed rotating spindle is controlled by a frequency converter and has the following requirements:

1. Low frequency machining results in high torque. When performing rough machining on a grinder, the spindle needs to operate within a low-speed frequency range. However, when a universal frequency converter operates at low frequencies, the torque is not large, making it impossible to process. Therefore, the frequency converter needs to have the characteristic of low frequency and high torque

2. The spindle operates with infinite speed regulation. The spindle adjusts different operating speeds according to the requirements of the workpiece, so the frequency converter is required to have stepless speed regulation

3. High precision in operating speed. The high-speed rotation accuracy of the spindle directly affects the accuracy of grinding workpieces, so it is required that the driven frequency converter must have high speed accuracy

4. High protection level. The environment for grinding machine processing is in a high oil pollution, high dust, and high humidity environment. The frequency converter needs to have a high protection level, otherwise it may cause short circuit damage or even machine explosion.

5. The motor has low vibration and noise.
