The cantilever single strand machine is used to control the twisting of PE or PVC coated core wires such as cables, communication cables, data cables, coaxial cables, etc., and to complete the center or side wrapping at once. The requirements for these types of cables to be made into wires are mainly signal bandwidth, that is, the signal pass rate at a certain high frequency. Due to the disorderly mechanical structure and numerous wire passing wheels of traditional cable twisting machines, there are too many bending processes during the cable twisting process, which leads to the deterioration of the electrical performance of the produced wire and cannot meet the requirements. However, the cantilever single winch only has three wire passing wheels and is directly wound on the wire reel after cable formation, which greatly improves the twisting effect of the wires. At the same time, due to the fact that the winch is a homogeneous body with a maximum speed of 1000RPM, it has been widely used now. This article intends to introduce the control system of a cantilever single winch with high speed stability accuracy based on a closed-loop vector form, combined with the square V560 frequency converter.
The twisting of wire cores with high precision requirements has the following requirements for the control process of the system:
1. The frequency converter must have extremely high requirements for stable speed accuracy, as the composition of the pitch depends on the speed difference between the pantograph and the wire winding;
2. The frequency converter must have high dynamic acceleration and deceleration characteristics to ensure stable pitch during acceleration and deceleration;
3. The PLC program requires a complex calculation of the twisting distance composition principle, and even if the winding diameter changes, the linear speed of the system must be maintained stable.
The following control system was planned using the Sifang V560 frequency converter.
The advantages of adopting this control plan are:
1. Adopting a closed-loop vector form, its speed stability accuracy is significantly better than that of general frequency converter control systems, and it achieves high torque output at low frequencies;
2. It eliminates the need for complex and expensive planetary differentials, greatly reducing mechanical costs and giving it a competitive advantage;
The logic control and operation of the system are mainly completed by PLC, and the parameter setting of the frequency converter is very simplified.
Closing remarks
This article introduces a cantilever single twisting machine control system based on the square V560 vector frequency converter. The plan has high speed stability accuracy, completes high torque output at low operating frequencies, ensures stable twisting distance during the twisting process, simplifies systematic operation, and reduces the production cost of the system. It has now been successfully applied to multiple cantilever single winch control systems.
