PO is a homopolymer copolymer of ethylene and propylene, with excellent acid, alkali, and salt corrosion resistance. It is formed in one step using a hot rolling axis, and the lining surface is smooth and uniform, tightly bonded to the substrate. It can be safely used in an environment of -40~90 ℃ for a long time, and can withstand short-term thermal shock up to 110 ℃. It is currently one of the most ideal and widely used anti-corrosion materials to replace stainless steel and other special steels.

Note: Steel lined PO equipment (with steel mesh inside) and steel lined PO pipelines can be used under negative pressure conditions.

Characteristics of steel lined PO pipeline (steel lined polyolefin pipeline) and fittings

  1. Hot rolled plastic (PO) pipes and fittings are made of steel pipes, with rust removal treatment on the inner surface. All are made of integral steel shell and lined with plastic integral roll molding. There are no plastic welding seams, which is the first of its kind in China and completely overcomes the poor welding performance of some plastics (such as PP), making the product more reliable and durable.
  2. Medium working pressure: positive pressure 1.6MPa, negative pressure 96KPa
  3. Working temperature of the medium:- 40℃ ~ 90 ℃
  4. Corrosion resistance: In addition to strong oxidizing acids such as concentrated nitric acid, fuming sulfuric acid, and chlorosulfonic acid, it can withstand most organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts, and has good corrosion resistance against stress corrosion. Its corrosion resistance can be found in the "Corrosion Data Manual" at temperatures below 100 ℃.
  5. The specifications can range from DN25 to DN3500mm. Any irregular or non-standard parts can be customized according to the drawings. At the same time, internal and external rolling molding can be carried out according to user requirements to achieve the ideal effect of complete corrosion prevention.

Advantages compared to steel lined PTFE pipes and steel lined polypropylene pipes

Steel lined PO pipes (steel lined polyolefin pipes) have good toughness and low temperature resistance of polyethylene, high softening temperature of polypropylene, and excellent thermal and light stability of polybutene, making them one of the most ideal anti-corrosion materials currently available. It overcomes the defects of uneven flange turning of polytetrafluoroethylene lined pipes, easy bending and damage of polypropylene lined pipe flange opening, or unreliable welding joints. The lining layer is firmly attached to the surface of the steel pipe, making it an authentic tight lined steel lined plastic pipe.
