Molecular Devices launches SpectraMax ® The Plus 384 now simultaneously implements the functions of a standard spectrophotometer and a microplate reader. It can read samples from any standard specification colorimetric dish, 12x75 mm test tube, 96 or 384 well microplate. The host is equipped with a high-precision grating monochromator, which can detect UV/visible/near-infrared light without the need for filters. It can be freely selected between 190nm and 1000nm, with high-precision temperature control function, up to 45 ° C, meeting the experimental applications that require temperature control, SpectraMax ® The Plus 384 adopts a multi-channel detection mode, which can work like a dual wavelength spectrophotometer. It consists of 9 independent sample detectors and a reference detector, which reduces all optical path output errors caused by optical fibers and increases detection speed. The 96 well plate only takes a minimum of 5 seconds. The patented non temperature dependent pathcheck optical path sensor technology can automatically correct the measured absorbance value in the microplate to the absorbance value under the 1cm cuvette optical path, making the reading of the microplate reach the accuracy of the spectrophotometer. The calibration result does not change with temperature changes. The instrument can work with StakMax ® Stacking machine or third-party automation equipment integration compatibility.
