SpectraMax ® The ABS microporous reading machine combines the high cost-effectiveness of a filter type reading machine with the flexibility of a grating system.
The SpectraMax ® The ABS Plus microplate reader can be used for both colorimetric dishes and microplates on the same instrument. Use any standard colorimetric dish to read a single sample or use 96 and 384 well plates to read up to 384 samples on a single well plate. For higher sample throughput, both reading machines can easily integrate fully automated systems to meet sample processing needs.

Experimental examples
In genetics and molecular biology, quantification of nucleic acids and proteins is a necessary upstream test for many complex experiments. We can use Lambert Beer's law to directly calculate the concentration values of large molecular substances to be detected, such as nucleic acids and proteins.
