Leica VT1200 semi-automatic vibrating slicer
The Leica VT1200 semi-automatic vibrating slicer is designed for slicing fixed or non fixed tissues in neuropathology (fresh brain tissue slices) and neurophysiology (patch clamp).
If you are a user who wishes to manually select the desired slice thickness before each slice, we recommend using this device. The optional measuring device 'Vibrocheck' can be used to detect vertical deflection.
The adjustment screw on the tool holder can adjust the vertical deflection to below 1 µ m. This device was designed in collaboration with Professor/Dr. Peter Jonas and his team from the Department of Science at Freiburg University in Germany.
