Leica VT1200 S vibrating slicer
The fully automatic Leica VT1200 S vibrating slicer is designed to meet the highest requirements for fresh or fixed tissue slicing in neuroscience.
To obtain the highest quality slices (i.e. to preserve live cells on the surface of the slices), you can use Leica Vibrcheck ™ The measuring device measures the vertical deflection of the blade and uses an innovative tool holder to minimize the offset.
This device was designed in collaboration with Professor/Dr. Peter Jonas and his team from the Department of Science at Freiburg University in Germany.
