Leica IP S inkjet slide marking machine
When Leica IP S numbers standard glass slides, each slide only takes four seconds. The patented ink designed specifically for Leica microscopy systems enables imprints to withstand chemical corrosion and physical wear. Whether printing alphanumeric characters, barcodes, or trademarks, it always presents excellent printing resolution and is easy to recognize.
The unique advantage of barcode printing is the ability to track specimens using barcodes throughout the entire histological workflow, as well as reliable archiving through fast and accurate case identification. The optional additional storage strip can be used for pre loading glass slides.

Barcode printed glass slides are used to track samples, automatically querying and tracking information to reduce human errors.
Ink-jet printing technology
