The new color colorimeter CR-400 is the successor to the widely recognized and acclaimed CR-100, CR-200, and CR-300 series. It has a large number of additional functions and a wider range of uses, but fully retains its all-optical characteristics, ensuring data exchange with previous models. The measurement area of CR-400 is 8mm, suitable for measuring reflection color and color difference in various industries. It can meet various applications such as ingredients, food, raw materials, finished products, drugs, and dermatology.
If the test object has a specific structure or uneven surface, such as granular material, fabric, wood, stone, brick, etc., then CR-410 is your wise choice. Its unique 50mm large aperture is very suitable for measuring such samples, without the need for multiple measurements and taking the average.
The main improvements of the new model are increased usability and functionality, such as redesigning the data processor, equipping it with a large backlit display screen (which can display measurement data digitally or graphically), and a built-in high-speed thermal printer. The data memory can store up to 100 target colors and 1000 measurement results. Multiple new color spaces, qualified/unqualified formulas, and white/yellowness indicators have enhanced the application of the instrument in various aspects. The new "Custom Metrics" feature allows an additional 6 different users to input, or use XYZ, Yxy, or CIELAB values to input 6 sets of formulas specific to a particular application. Additionally, the display language can be set to English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, or Japanese.
To further enhance the flexibility of use, the measuring head is equipped with a display screen, function keys, and power supply, which can be used independently without relying on a data processor or directly connected to a computer as an additional item sold separately through Windows ® The QC software SpectraMagic NX is running.
