MICRODUST is an intrinsic safety real-time monitoring device that can monitor the concentration of dust and aerosols in the workplace. The forward scattering floating object detection method, which has undergone testing and experimentation, has been further improved in MICRODUST. It not only provides users with the ability to detect floating dust, but also the ability to record data for subsequent analysis. This advantage, combined with the inherent safety of the equipment, makes it an ideal monitoring tool for mobile and fixed applications in hazardous or non hazardous environments. MICRODUST is very sensitive, and its measuring probe can be disassembled, allowing for measurements to be taken in relatively difficult to access areas. The device also has a very wide sensitivity, ranging from 1 microgram/cubic meter to 25 grams/cubic meter, further expanding the range of use of this series of devices.

In addition to the basic menu, the data recording version also provides a "Recorder Menu", allowing users to select recording intervals, recorder modes, and the recording time used. All functions can be accessed using a touch sensitive membrane keyboard, which is another important feature of the microprocessor controlled MICRODUST.
