Overview
KYOWA Strain Gauge Introduction: Strain gauges attached to the measured material can produce apparent strain due to temperature changes other than strain caused by external forces, as well as differences in the coefficient of linear expansion between the measured material and the strain gauge resistance element, and changes in resistance caused by temperature changes in the strain gauge resistance element. Automatic compensation strain gauges are strain gauges that adjust the temperature coefficient of resistance of strain gauge resistance elements suitable for the measured object, and achieve the minimization of apparent strain through temperature changes.
Product Details
KYOWA strain gaugesIt is a sensor that converts small changes in mechanical dimensions (strain) into electrical signals. If they are pasted onto materials or measured for strain on the surface of structures, their strength and safety can be understood. Therefore, strain gauges are widely used in various fields such as machinery, automobiles, electrical engineering, motors, civil engineering, medicine, and food.
In addition, it is also used as a sensing element for sensors such as force, pressure, acceleration, vibration, displacement, torque, as well as for measuring and controlling production lines.
Automatic compensation temperature strain gauge
The strain gauge pasted on the measured material will produce apparent strain due to temperature changes other than strain caused by external forces, as well as the difference in the coefficient of linear expansion between the measured material and the strain gauge resistance element, and the impact of temperature changes on the resistance value of the strain gauge resistance element. Automatic compensation strain gauges are strain gauges that adjust the temperature coefficient of resistance of strain gauge resistance elements suitable for the measured object, and achieve the minimization of apparent strain through temperature changes.
Our company's automatic compensation strain gauges, when pasted onto suitable objects, adjust the average apparent strain within the automatic compensation temperature range to within ± 1.8 × 10-6 strain/℃ (representative value). Moreover, the KFGS strain gauge automatically compensates for temperature characteristics and is controlled within ± 1 × 10-6 strain/℃ between the commonly used range of 20-40 ℃.
Method for selecting KYOWA strain gauges
Strain gauge style: Choose the appropriate style based on the measurement purpose.
Suitable coefficient of linear expansion: Select the coefficient of linear expansion suitable for the measured object.
The type and length of the wire: Select the wire according to the measurement environment and temperature conditions.
