The integrated temperature transmitter is composed of a temperature sensor and a signal converter. The signal converter is installed in the cold junction box of the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor is affected by temperature and produces resistance or potential effects, which are converted into a differential voltage signal. This signal is amplified by an amplifier, and then converted into voltage and current to output a 4-20mA current signal or other 0-5V/0-10V signals corresponding to the measurement range.
The integrated temperature transmitter integrates temperature sensing elements (thermistor or thermocouple) with signal conversion and amplification units to measure the temperature of liquids, vapors, and other gas media or solid surfaces within the range of -200-1600 ℃ in various process flows. It is usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments, and various control systems. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy installation, use, and maintenance, and is currently widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power plants, and light industry.
The MCT80Y series integrated temperature transmitter is divided into three categories: ordinary type, explosion-proof type, and digital integrated type. Among them, ordinary and explosion-proof models can choose different built-in temperature transmitter modules to meet different application requirements of users. Temperature transmitters are divided into two series: thermocouples and thermistors, depending on the type of temperature sensor used.
Main features:

The millivolt signal of the thermocouple is directly converted into a 4-20mA current output through a signal converter, and the signal is transmitted using ordinary cables, which can save expensive compensation wires.

Wiring and calibration:
The transmitter system is connected as shown in the figure. The 24VDC power supply supplies power to the transmitter through a shielded cable, with the "V+" connected to the positive pole of 24VDC and the "V -" connected to the negative pole, outputting 4-20mA. Connect the transmitter to a standard signal source (resistance box or millivolt meter), and repeatedly adjust the zero and full potentiometer when the signal source provides zero and full signals to accurately adjust the range. Z "is the zero adjustment potentiometer, and" S "is the full adjustment potentiometer (all potentiometers are calibrated before leaving the factory). When errors occur due to factors such as line resistance and ambient temperature during use, simply adjust the zero adjustment potentiometer" Z "to correct them. This calibration method can also be used to correct system errors.

Explanation: Generally, the power supply voltage Vs is selected as 24V, and the load resistance RL is selected as 250 Ω. This way, when a current of 4-20mA passes through the circuit, the voltage on RL drops to 1-5V. If Vs and RL use other values, the RL value cannot exceed the value calculated by the formula RL=.
