Laptops have developed into the dual core era, with most equipped with ExpressCard/34 expansion interfaces. Few models now come with standard parallel and serial ports. However, in many applications (such as using parallel ports to connect simulators, programmers, and other devices; using serial ports to connect microcontrollers, PLCs, POS, access control, detection, communication instruments, and other standard 232 interface peripherals), parallel and serial port devices are still required. Although there are data interfaces such as "USB to print port" and "USB to serial port", they still cannot solve the debugging problems of the serial parallel port devices mentioned above.

TEC-1925M-34EType is an industrial grade enhanced ExpressCard/34 to serial/parallel port integrated card designed to solve the above problems.
