ABB has strengthened the key axes of IRB 6600 according to the typical stamping process production cycle requirements. This robot adopts a parallel arm design, with stronger rigidity, faster speed, and easier control.

The gears of IRB 6600 adopt reinforced design, which extends the service life of the gears and optimizes their high-speed operation. The power cable and encoder/demodulator cable of IRB 6600 are both laid in the upper arm cavity, creating convenient conditions for the integration of the outer shaft.
