1.1 Sensor
The sensors used are CZLYB-4Y and CZL-YB-4 series products. There is only one spare cap fastening at the sensor signal line connector, so the shielding at the connector is prone to damage and the signal line is prone to breakage. Due to the harsh on-site environment, high vibration and dust, as well as the humid conditions caused by winter and spring snow and summer rain, the weighing signal output by the sensor is prone to malfunction, resulting in inaccurate weight display or weight flipping of the intelligent weight transmitter, which affects the loading and production of the blast furnace.
We have addressed this phenomenon at the sensor joints on site. Firstly, wrap the joint with black tape and then wrap it with plastic tape to improve dust and water resistance, and extend its service life. When installing sensors, it should also be noted that the three sensors of the same hopper scale should be on the same horizontal plane, and there should be no horizontal torque between the sensors to avoid measurement errors. The reinforcement of the scale frame structure can prevent the influence of surrounding vibration sources and reduce the impact force on the sensor.
1.2 Junction Box
The weighing sensor junction box uses BJH-1 compensation junction box. This type of junction box has poor sealing, and some junction boxes are installed on site. Due to high vibration and dust, it is easy to cause loose fastening screws, burnt bridge voltage potentiometers, and interference signals, resulting in inaccurate display data or disorderly flipping of values on the weight transmitter. In response to the above phenomenon, we added black rubber between the on-site junction box and the fixed frame to improve the anti vibration ability. Wrap black tape around the cover plate of the junction box to improve sealing, and regularly clean the dust to reduce the possibility of junction box failure.
1.3 The impact of power supply on intelligent weight transmitters
The intelligent weight transmitter shares a power supply with the high-power frequency converter, which can cause voltage waveform distortion in the power grid. The larger the power grid capacity, the steeper the current waveform and the more severe the distortion. On the contrary, voltage waveform distortion is better when the power grid capacity is relatively small. The degree of distortion is related to the load size of the frequency converter. Due to the distortion of current and voltage waveforms, intelligent weight transmitters on the same power supply line are inevitably affected. Because the sensor power supply is provided by the intelligent weight transmitter after voltage transformation and rectification, fluctuations in the power supply can cause fluctuations in the weight signal (millivolt level), resulting in the weight values reflected on the intelligent weight transmitter flipping randomly. To eliminate this impact, we used Delixi isolation transformers to improve power supply quality and eliminate this influence.
1.4 Strengthen inspection work
Conduct on-site inspections once a day, carefully checking the scale frame, sensors, junction boxes, and other areas for any deformation, looseness, damage, or other issues. Promptly address any issues discovered, maintain inspection records, and summarize in a timely manner. Find ways to modify areas that are prone to malfunctions, so that potential faults can be eliminated in their early stages.
