Continuous automatic monitoring equipment for particulate matter certified by EN 16450,
Can simultaneously measure PM2.5 and PM10
Fine dust is everywhere
Nowadays, everyone's lips are covered in fine dust. Fine dust on our mouths⸺It is a topic of continuous attention in the news industry, often mentioned and literally, small dust particles enter the human body through the mucous membranes of the lips and other parts. Professor Christian Schulz from Regensburg University Hospital described their effects on the human body in his health tips [1], ranging from causing irritation to mucous membranes and local inflammation of respiratory organs to increasing the overall risk of cardiovascular disease.
Therefore, for towns, it is becoming increasingly important to focus on reducing fine dust in the atmosphere and ensuring that it falls below effective guidance values. For example, the limit for PM10 throughout Europe is 50 μ g/m ³ (PM10) as the maximum daily limit, which cannot exceed 35 times a year. In Europe, the focus is increasingly shifting towards very fine particulate matter (PM2.5) with lower mass concentration.
The first step we must take before we can effectively address the dust source or take any other measures is to measure the dust burden. This requires certified equipment that can provide effective measurement results under various conditions. Palas ® GmbH's measuring equipment not only meets these requirements, but also performs far beyond expectations in certain situations. For example, it utilizes single particle measurement technology to simultaneously measure and display PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations, which is a performance advantage that other known devices cannot provide.
