Scope of Application

This product is suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas environments, with hazardous medium levels of IIA, IIB, IIC, and temperature groups of T1-T6. Widely used in indoor and outdoor areas along oil extraction platforms, refineries, chemical plant pipelines, gas stations, gas pump stations, etc. where various flammable and explosive gases such as hydrogen, acetylene, gasoline, methane, etc. exist, for connecting power and signal lines of on-site instruments, solenoid valves, lighting fixtures, and other equipment.

Explosion proof shell:The main body is made of high-strength aluminum alloy die-casting or high-quality carbon steel welding, with a sturdy structure.

Explosion proof joint surface:There is a precision machined explosion-proof surface between the flange and the cover to ensure safe release of explosive pressure.

Introduction device:Multiple explosion-proof cable entry ports are configured on both sides or at the bottom of the box, with standard compression nuts or threaded holes.

Internal configuration:The standard configuration is a high-quality copper plated nickel or tin plated terminal block, with an insulated base that is flame retardant and reliable.

Installation and Usage

Installation steps:

security check:Confirm that the classification of hazardous areas on site matches the explosion-proof markings of the product.

Fixed box:Secure the box firmly to the bracket or wall using bolts through the mounting holes on the base.

Cable entry:Select the appropriate explosion-proof gland according to the outer diameter of the cable, connect it from the inlet and lock it tightly for sealing.

Internal wiring:According to the terminal block markings, reliably crimp the cable core wire to the corresponding terminal to ensure firm contact and intact insulation.

Sealed cover:Clean the explosion-proof surface, place the sealing ring, and evenly tighten all box cover bolts diagonally.


Usage and maintenance:

It is strictly prohibited to open the lid with electricity.

Regularly check whether the fasteners are loose and whether the sealing rings are aged and cracked.

Keep the explosion-proof joint surface clean and avoid collision damage.

If severe corrosion or damage is found in the box, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
