Introduction

The EDS-4008 series is a series of 8-port 100Mbps network managed Ethernet switches, which can choose from four 1 Gbps uplink ports or two 100M ST/SC fiber ports. This series is also equipped with four 10/100BaseT (X) 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt port option models for connecting PoE devices with high bandwidth requirements.

Ethernet redundancy technologies such as Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and RSTP/STP enhance system reliability and backbone network availability. The EDS-4008 series is designed for demanding applications such as video and process monitoring, ITS, and DCS systems, all of which benefit from scalable backbone communication.
