FerrographIt is a new mechanical wear monitoring method invented in the 1970s. The basic principle and method of the ferrograph is to use magnetic force to separate the wear debris and debris in lubricating oil or hydraulic oil, and arrange them on a transparent substrate in a non overlapping manner according to their size (i.e. making ferrographs), and observe them with a ferrograph microscope for qualitative analysis.

The YTF-8 dual analysis ferrograph uses high gradient and strong magnetic field to separate ferromagnetic and paramagnetic abrasive particles in machine lubricating oil, and deposits them on the ferrograph in order of particle size. With the help of a ferrograph analysis microscope, the morphology, size, composition, and quantity of wear particles can be observed and analyzed.
