Overview
Contactor refers to an electrical device in industrial electronics that uses a coil to generate a magnetic field through which current flows, causing the contacts to close and achieve load control. It consists of an electromagnetic system (iron core, static iron core, electromagnetic coil), a contact system (normally open and normally closed contacts), and an arc extinguishing device.
Product Details

The principle of a contactor is the same as that of a voltage relay, but it controls a larger load power and therefore has a larger volume.

Relay is a small signal control electrical device used for motor protection or automatic control of various production machinery.

AC contactorIt is to use coils to control the on/off of the circuit. After being powered on, the normally open one closes and the normally closed one opens, in order to control it.

1. Circuit breakers are mainly used for protection, which is not wrong. The commonly used protection for it is three-stage protection, which includes overload protection, short-circuit short delay, and short-circuit long delay. There are also some protection functions such as undervoltage and overvoltage. It depends on the brand and model. Its opening and closing can be manual or electric. There are three installation methods: fixed type, drawer type, etc. According to the magnitude of current and the level of operating voltage, it can be divided into low-voltage molded case circuit breakers, low-voltage frame circuit breakers, and high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers. According to the different release curves, it can be divided into different usage scenarios. There is still a big difference between it and fuses.

2AC contactorMainly used for industrial control, usually with motors as the main load. Of course, there may be some heaters and dual power switching applications. The on-off of the contactor is achieved by controlling the coil voltage. According to the different structures of arc extinguishing, it can be divided into vacuum contactors and ordinary contactors. According to different control voltages, it can be divided into DC contactors andIts main accessories are auxiliary contacts. And it does not have short-circuit protection and overload protection capabilities, so it must be used in conjunction with fuses and thermal relays.
