TUV conducts rigorous testing on its certified products to ensure higher safety. The sample selected by Shanghai Jingpu Electromechanical is the SSI multi circle value encoder GMX60 R12/12E10 SGB with a wide range of applications, simple operation, and applicability to various PLCs, as well as the matching control digital instrument GP1312.

Experimental purpose: To simulate the discharge of operators or objects in contact with the equipment and the discharge of people or objects to adjacent objects, in order to examine the ability of the tested equipment to resist electrostatic discharge interference. The former is directly coupled through a conductor and belongs to direct discharge. The latter is through spatial radiation coupling and belongs to indirect radiation effects.

Implementation of the experiment
After 80% amplitude modulation of the signal with a 1kHz sine wave, sweep frequency measurement is carried out in the frequency range of 80-1000MHz, with a sweep step size of 1% of the previous frequency. This part is controlled by computer and software.
The scanning dwell time at each frequency point should not be shorter than the time required for the operation and response of the tested equipment, generally set to one second. If there are special requirements for the product, the dwell time can be extended.
The test equipment should be tested under the horizontal and vertical polarization of the transmitting antenna.

Voltage sag, short interruption, and voltage variation immunity test

Objective of the test
Simulate the power grid caused by faults in the power supply grid or substation equipment, sudden large changes in load, or continuous changes in load
Test the immunity of the tested equipment to transient voltage drops and short-term interruptions.
The EUT test level and duration are selected according to standard or product technical requirements, and after combination, arranged in order of delivery and tested sequentially. The number of tests for each combination state is specified as 3 seconds, and the interval between two tests is 10 seconds
The sudden change in power supply voltage during the experiment occurs at the zero crossing point of the voltage and at the critical phase specified in the product technical conditions. For three-phase power supply equipment, tests are generally conducted phase by phase.

According to our promise of an effective transmission distance of 100 meters for our product, TUV testing agency is required to conduct a 100 meter cable test on the sample during testing, which requires higher output signal requirements for the encoder. This test includes testing the electromagnetic field radiation interference of the product in the frequency range of 80-1000MHz and 1.4-2.7GHz. Whether the signal is stable and the data is accurate, the digital display instrument is clear at a glance, which can be seen on the spot in the laboratory. If any indicator is not qualified, the experiment will be closed on the spot.
The GMX60 series products are a multi turn encoder series developed in 2018 by professional engineers with advanced research and development technology, based on the original GAX60 series. The preferred products in this series are the GMX60 R12/12E10 SGB and GMX60 R12/12E10 RMLB. The former is characterized by SSI signal remote transmission stability technology, while the latter is characterized by intelligent Easypro technology with four signal outputs: 4-20mA, RS485, Modbus, speed, etc.
The GMX60 series is an upgraded version of the GAX60 series. Whether it is the processing of internal components (using high-quality raw materials, working at high and low temperatures, resistant to vibration and impact) or the higher requirements for processing technology (waterproof type, sealing), it is superior to the GAX60 series. Only when the product itself requires high specifications can it provide higher quality multi turn encoders to serve users.
