Thought collision and discussion on 'simulation to reality'
During the exhibition, Craig McDonnell, Global Head of ABB Robotics Industry Business Unit, delivered a keynote speech, elaborating on how ABB Robotics and NVIDIA's strategic cooperation can bridge the "sim to real" gap and help manufacturers design, test, and deploy autonomous robots more efficiently.
Craig is still withDeepu Talla, Vice President of Robotics and Edge AI at NVIDIAEngage in a deep conversation. Both parties agree that the simulation accuracy has approached the real physical world and is sufficient to support complex industrial applications. NVIDIA's accelerated computing capabilities complement ABB's deep accumulation in motion control and digital twin fields, accelerating the transition of industrial grade physical AI from concept to production line.

Immersive Experience · RobotStudio HyperReality
On June 23-24, ABB Robotics and Deloitte jointly unveiled at the Amazon Web Services China Summit, bringing the RobotStudio HyperReality interactive experience station to the Deloitte China booth. Through immersive demonstrations and on-site operations, the audience was visually demonstrated how physical AI driven industrial robots can achieve high-precision simulation and real-world migration, injecting new possibilities into intelligent manufacturing.
At the same time as the summit, Liu Hao, the head of ABB Robotics' global electronic business strategy, gave a keynote speech at Deloitte Platinum Lecture Hall, focusing on the pain points of automation in the electronic manufacturing industry and systematically elaborating on a physical AI adaptive solution based on digital twins and synthetic data training. He pointed out that in the face of complex working conditions such as high-frequency line changing, small parts, and environmental changes, ABB RobotStudio HyperReality can achieve 99% simulation to reality migration accuracy, greatly improving deployment efficiency and flexible production capabilities.
In addition, Yao Xuan, the Global Electronic Business Strategic Cooperation Manager of ABB Robotics, reviewed the evolution of automation technology during the Deloitte Physical Artificial Intelligence roundtable dialogue, emphasizing that there are still a large number of random and flexible tasks in the current manufacturing industry that traditional solutions cannot solve. She stated that the development of physical AI provides a new methodology and architecture, particularly demonstrating unique value in uncertain scenarios and flexible automation, and has the potential to reconstruct the complex challenges that the industry has long faced.

Closed loop Evolution · Joint Laboratory Results Debut
From June 24th to 26th, ABB Robotics and AsiaInfo Technology jointly participated in the Shanghai Mobile World Congress, bringing the "Virtual Reality Bi directional Closed loop Practice Interactive Station" at the AsiaInfo booth. This interactive website is deeply linked with AsiaInfo's newly released Physical AI OS product system, forming an industrial intelligence closed-loop of "perception deduction decision execution evolution".
As a carrier for AI to move from the digital world to the physical space, ABB robots demonstrate intuitively through this interactive station how physical AI automatically converts task instructions into real actions that are understandable, executable, and traceable to the device: first, data is generated and verified in the simulation environment, so that the production line does not need to debug from scratch when facing new workpieces, greatly reducing on-site trial and error and downtime, ensuring that robot actions are controllable, safe, and reproducible. This joint exhibition vividly presents the latest exploration of ABB robots and AsiaInfo Technology in promoting the landing of physical AI in industrial manufacturing scenarios.
This joint exhibition is also a phased achievement of the strategic cooperation between the two sides. At the beginning of this year, ABB Robotics and AsiaInfo Technology jointly established the "Tailored Intelligence Laboratory". The laboratory deeply integrates AsiaInfo's 5G-A communication, network security, AI applications with ABB's mechanical automation and flexible control technology for robots, and conducts training optimization based on Alibaba Cloud's large model and NVIDIA's accelerated computing technology.
