The traditional hard wiring method used for machines involves various intricate wires and cables. In modern machine settings, for complex operations or multifunctional mechanical equipment, the number of various electrical, signal, and data contact points can reach hundreds.

In contrast, modular connectors have excellent mechanical stability and do not require labor-intensive wiring and installation operations on site, simplifying routine testing and maintenance. The effect is particularly evident when machines are arranged in tight spaces or located in remote factory sites. For devices that use wire sets and customized configurations and colors, technicians can quickly disconnect them and directly insert them into portable testing equipment. Modular connectors come from the following aspects:
Reduce manual labor and shorten debugging time for mechanical equipment, robots, and assembly lines.

We have designed a variety of sizes and styles specifically for modular connectors to meet the strict requirements of demanding industrial machinery applications and processes. Some of the more common connectors include:
Heavy duty connectors (HDC): Liquids, dust, and other contaminants may enter the housing of the connector. This will result in power outages and shutdowns. The design of HDC ensures uninterrupted high performance for many years in high demand applications.
High power M-series connectors: M-series connectors are required by industry standards to have full compatibility with other component suppliers, industrial machinery OEMs, and system layouts.

Hybrid connector: The processing size of hybrid connectors is relatively small, designed based on a circular M12 threaded interface. M12 is increasingly being used in inductive and optical sensors, and can be connected to the programmable logic controller (PLC) backbone of industrial machinery and automation platforms through Ethernet, PROFINET, and other active component buses.
In harsh industrial environments, modular connectors can more reliably withstand heavy use and exposure. The quick disconnect power connector, signal connector, and wire assembly are formed in the factory using pressure resistant materials, which can easily replace the hard wiring of the machine.
