1、 Installation precautions

1. Location Selection
   • vertical installationThe compressed film of the wind pressure differential switch should be in a vertical plane to avoid horizontal installation that may affect the detection accuracy due to the self weight of the film (with a deviation of up to 20Pa).
   • Avoid interference sourcesStay away from steam vents, ventilation blind spots, and vibration sources to prevent pressure fluctuations from interfering with measurements.
   • fluid directionThe water pipe type differential pressure switch needs to specify the high pressure end (connected to the front end of the filter screen) and the low pressure end (connected to the back end of the filter screen). Connecting them in reverse will cause the contacts to not move.
2. pipeline connection
   • Short tube priorityThe connecting pipe should be as short as possible, and one end should be able to drain the liquid (to prevent damage from freezing).
   • Insulation treatmentThe pressure measuring tubes and shells on both sides need to be insulated to avoid environmental temperature affecting the state of the medium.
   • Opening specificationsIt is not advisable to open holes in pipeline welds or edges. Welding should be completed before pipeline anti-corrosion, blowing, and pressure testing.
3. environmental adaptability
   • outdoor protectionIf installed outdoors, rain and corrosion prevention measures should be taken to avoid direct sunlight or corrosive gases.
   • temperature rangeEnsure that the medium and ambient temperature are between -20 ℃ and 85 ℃ (storage temperature -40 ℃ to 85 ℃), as exceeding this limit may damage the components.

2、 Debugging precautions

1. Pressure setting range
   • The recommended setting value is between 30% -65% of the pressure range, and the adjustable range is 15% -90%. For example, if the pressure range is 0-1MPa, the set value should be selected as 0.3-0.65MPa.
   • During debugging, the pressure should not exceed the maximum allowable pressure to prevent component deformation.
2. Pulse pressure treatment
   • If there is pressure pulsation or vibration in the system (such as hydraulic system), a throttle valve or pressure shock damper should be installed to suppress the damage of pulsation to the instrument.
3. Adjustment of connection and disconnection difference
   • fixed typeThe switching difference is not adjustable, and it has been set to return difference at the factory.
   • adjustableBy adjusting the screw to adjust the switching difference, it is necessary to repeatedly test according to actual needs until the requirements are met.

3、 Maintenance precautions

1. regular inspection
   • rubber sealing gasketAfter aging, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner to prevent air or liquid leakage.
   • performance testingRegularly test whether the switch action is accurate to avoid measurement deviation caused by component aging.
2. Cleaning and maintenance
   • Clean the residual medium inside after each use to prevent corrosion or blockage.
   • The display screen needs to be wiped regularly and wrapped in a clean bag to prevent dust.
3. line maintenance
   • The cable wires should be inserted deep enough into the terminal board and the screws should be tightened to prevent loosening.
   • Avoid sharing wiring paths with power lines and high-voltage lines to prevent electromagnetic interference.
