Overview of core functions: This sensor is designed specifically for monitoring equipment speed. It detects underspeed by sensing the motion status of rotating components. When the equipment speed falls below a set threshold, it triggers output signal conversion, providing fault warning or shutdown control signals for subsequent control circuits. It is suitable for industrial control scenarios with 24V DC power supply.
Output signal type: Adopting NPN normally open switch output, the output signal amplitude matches the supply voltage, and can be directly connected to PLC digital input module or relay coil. The signal response delay is ≤ 10ms, ensuring that subsequent control actions can be quickly triggered when the speed is abnormal.
Output load capacity: The maximum output current is 100mA, and the allowable load resistance range for connection is 240 Ω -2.4k Ω. In actual wiring, current limiting components should be matched according to the load type to avoid damage to the sensor output circuit caused by load current exceeding the rated range.
Output protection features: Built in short-circuit protection and reverse connection protection functions. When a short circuit occurs at the output terminal, the internal protection circuit can quickly cut off the output circuit; If the positive and negative poles are reversed, the sensor will stop working and will not damage the core components, improving wiring and usage safety.
Basic principle of wiring: Adopt a three wire wiring method, distinguish between the positive and negative poles of the power supply and the signal output line. Before wiring, disconnect the power supply to avoid electric sparks generated by live wiring that may damage sensors or backend equipment. Use shielded wires with a cross-sectional area of ≥ 0.75mm ² to reduce electromagnetic interference.
Power terminal wiring operation: Connect the positive terminal of the 24V DC power supply to the "+V" terminal of the sensor, and connect the negative terminal of the power supply to the "- V" terminal. When wiring, ensure that the terminals are tightly pressed, without looseness or poor contact. The fluctuation range of the power supply should be controlled within ± 10% to avoid unstable voltage affecting the detection accuracy.
Signal terminal wiring operation: Connect the signal line from the sensor "OUT" terminal to the PLC digital input terminal or relay signal input terminal. If long-distance transmission is required, a 120 Ω terminal resistor can be connected in parallel at the signal terminal to suppress signal reflection and ensure signal transmission stability.
Inspection steps after wiring: After wiring is completed, check the correctness of the terminal wiring first, then connect the power supply. By manually rotating the tested component, observe the output signal status of the sensor (which can be detected by using a multimeter voltage range), confirm that the output signal changes normally with the speed, and then put it into formal use.
