When pulling rivets, place the rivet on one side of the locked hole component, insert the rivet core into the head of the rivet gun, and press the head against the end face of the rivet. Perform riveting operation until the opposite side of the rivet expands and the nail core breaks. Riveting completed.
Common installation methods for rivets:
1、 Base installation
1. Drill holes on the leather surface from the front with a 3mm punch;
2. Place the long rivet on the base;
3. Nail the leather cover with long nails;
4. Install a short hat on top of the leather;
5. Align the rivet mold with the short cap, tap the mold with a hammer, and place it in place.
2、 Thick skin installation
1. Drill holes on the leather surface with a 3mm punch from the front;
2. Place the rivet on a thicker piece of leather;
3. Cover the leather with long nails;
4. Install the rivet cap properly;
5. Align the rivet mold with the short cap, tap the mold with a hammer, and place it in place.
3、 Installation of cushion punching plate
1. Drill holes on the leather surface with a 3mm punch from the front;
2. Place the long rivet on the punch plate;
3. Nail the leather cover with long nails;
4. Install a short hat on top of the leather;
5. Align the rivet mold with the short cap, tap the mold with a hammer, and place it in place.
