(1) Ultra high voltage power grid
Based on the important role of UHV in energy interconnection and the implementation of the 'the Belt and Road' strategy, it is more important to implement the national 'the Belt and Road' strategic deployment, speed up the interconnection of power grids, and build a strong smart power grid with UHV grid as the backbone grid and clean energy transmission as the leading role. In order to implement the "the Belt and Road" strategy, * company systematically proposed four power grid interconnection project plans and signed strategic cooperation agreements with Russia and Kazakhstan, which marked the substantive promotion of the interconnection strategy and opened the prelude to intercontinental and intercontinental interconnection. This means that countries and regions along the 'the Belt and Road' will achieve interconnection through a strong smart grid with ultra-high voltage as the backbone grid, participate in the domestic and division of labor with the help of the energy Internet, give full play to their comparative advantages, better share the profits brought by the implementation of the 'the Belt and Road' strategy, and finally realize the prosperity and development of the local economy. In the energy Internet blueprint built by * Company, * UHV AC backbone grid and 19 loop trans regional UHV DC projects will be completed by 2020, forming three sending ends in the northeast, northwest and southwest and a strong receiving end of "Sanhua".
(2) Microgrid
The economic operation of microgrids, as the ultimate manifestation of the economic efficiency of microgrid systems, is also a key technology in microgrid research. The economic operation purpose of microgrids is based on basic data such as intermittent power output budget, load demand budget, and market information. By establishing appropriate economic dispatch models, dispatch strategies, and corresponding optimization algorithms, the goal is to minimize system operating costs, improve energy utilization efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while ensuring safe, stable, and reliable operation. Similar to the scheduling process of traditional power systems, the economic operation of microgrid systems also includes two different stages: offline economic scheduling (scheduling plan) and online economic scheduling (real-time scheduling). In order to achieve the economic operation goals of microgrids, it is necessary to comprehensively utilize relevant methods and technologies such as power budgeting, optimization scheduling models, scheduling strategies, and optimization scheduling algorithms.
(3) Smart electric meter
The large-scale construction of smart grids has brought about a broader market space for smart energy meters. Smart meters are the foundation of modern power infrastructure, which integrate computing and bidirectional communication, transforming ordinary meters from simple power measurement tools into highly intelligent devices and playing a broader role in power infrastructure. The whole earth needs smart meters from Chinese meter companies, and China's smart meter industry is entering a golden period of export.

Looking at the situation of smart meter exporting countries in China in recent years, the largest number of smart meter exporting countries are located in Africa, followed by Europe, and then Southwest Asia, Southeast Asia, South America and other countries. In terms of export value, in 2014, China exported the most smart meters to the Netherlands with a value of 30.5 million US dollars, followed by Vietnam with a value of 2722 US dollars, and Italy with a value of 2543 US dollars. The countries with export amounts ranging from 2000 to 2500 US dollars are Tanzania and Ghana; The countries with export amounts ranging from $1500 to $2000 include Thailand, the United States, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom; The countries with export amounts ranging from $1000 to $1500 include South Africa, Hong Kong, South Korea, Czech Republic, Bangladesh, Colombia, France, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
2. The export direction of smart meters: China's smart meters have been exported to more than 132 countries and regions, and the export volume is continuously increasing year by year. It is expected that the export volume of electric meters will increase to 47.2 million units in 2016, compared to only 26.5 million units in 2012. Based on the data of the former smart meter exporting countries, which account for 53.35% of China's total smart meter exports, we can infer the characteristics of Chinese smart meter exporting countries.
(4) Digital power station
At present, State Grid, users, and equipment manufacturers are actively promoting the development of digital substations. Since China proposed the construction of a digital power grid in 2000, more than 70 digital substations have been put into use in just 9 years, far exceeding other countries. In 2009, State Grid started construction on 7 digital substations and promoted 80 digital substations in 2010. Assuming that all existing substations above 110kV are transformed into digital substations by the end of 2020, the average annual market for digital substations in the next decade could reach around 4.5 billion yuan.
(5) Flexible power transmission
With the increasing attention paid by the country to power quality and energy conservation and emission reduction in recent years, the older generation of load reactive power compensation equipment, such as parallel capacitors, has begun to be increasingly replaced by SVC and other devices. With the advancement of China's smart grid construction, the application of SVC (or SVG) will become more widespread. Assuming that 80% of the existing 35kV and above transmission and transformation lines in China are equipped with SVC (or SVG) in 2020, the average annual demand from the power grid in the next ten years can reach about 4 billion yuan.
