The screw conveyor consists of a drive device that seals the trough box and a screw that rotates to push and output the coal inside the trough box. The characteristics of a screw conveyor are: simple structure, small cross-sectional size, good sealing, reliable operation, low manufacturing cost, easy intermediate loading and unloading, and the conveying direction can be reversed or simultaneously conveyed in opposite directions. Spiral conveying equipment blades can be either pulled in place or fully pulled. The pull in place can be made to any thickness and size, while the fully pulled type should not be used to produce non-standard spirals. From the perspective of material displacement direction, screw conveyors are divided into two types: horizontal screw conveyor equipment and vertical screw conveyor equipment. They are mainly used for horizontal conveying and vertical lifting of various loose materials such as powders, granules, and small blocks. This screw conveyor is not suitable for special materials that are prone to deterioration, high viscosity, clumping, high temperature, pressure resistance, and high corrosiveness. A screw conveyor generally consists of three main parts: the conveyor body, the inlet and outlet, and the driving device; The spiral blades of the screw conveyor have solid spiral belt type spiral surfaces and conveyor conveying materials with high viscosity and compressibility. This spiral suspended surface type has the functions of mixing and blending materials during the conveying operation. Compared with other conveying equipment, screw conveyors have the advantages of small overall cross-sectional size, good sealing performance, stable and reliable operation, the ability to load and unload materials at multiple points in the middle, safe operation, and easy maintenance. During the transportation process, materials can also be stirred, mixed, heated, and cooled. The material flow can be adjusted by loading and unloading the gate. But it is not suitable to transport materials that are prone to spoilage, have high viscosity, are prone to clumping, and are large in size. During the conveyor process, materials are prone to breakage, and the screw and material trough are prone to wear and tear. The unit power is relatively high. During use, it is necessary to maintain the sealing of the material trough and ensure that there is appropriate clearance between the spiral and the trough. Vertical spiral conveying equipment is suitable for short distance vertical conveying. The spiral of the bendable screw conveyor is composed of a flexible shaft and synthetic rubber blades, which are easy to bend and can be arranged arbitrarily according to the site or process requirements for spatial conveying.
