Varistor DC parameter meter model: HAD-J1001
This instrument is mainly used to measure three parameters of voltage limiting volt ampere characteristic devices (varistors, zinc oxide lightning arresters, voltage regulators, etc.), including voltage sensitive voltage (UN) (also known as DC reference voltage), nonlinearity index (α), and leakage current (IL). The design of the instrument complies with the technical standards GB/T10193 and GJB1782. It can also be used as a general DC power supply and current source, making it a multifunctional and multi-purpose laboratory instrument. The instrument has three working states to choose from: "automatic", "constant voltage", and "locked".

1. Automatic measurement status
One test automatically provides test results for three parameters: varistor voltage (UN), nonlinearity index (α), and leakage current (IL). The test program is UN → UN0.1 → IL, with a test cycle of approximately 450mS.
Among them:
*The test current for voltage UN has four options: 0.1mA ± 5%, 1mA ± 2%, 3mA ± 2%, and 10mA ± 2%. The test current for voltage UN0.1 is one tenth of the test current for voltage UN (UN0.1 only applies to the three constant current states of 0.1mA, 1mA, and 3mA).
*The nonlinear index α is calculated by the machine according to the formula α=1/(Log UN/UN0.1), displayed as a three digit LED value, with a measurement range of 9.0-999 and a corresponding voltage ratio UN/UN0.1=1.291-1.023 ± 0.005.
*The measurement voltage of leakage current (IL) can be selected as one of the following three voltages (0.75 ± 0.005) UN, (0.83 ± 0.005) UN, or a predetermined fixed voltage.
2. Constant voltage measurement status
The required output voltage value can be set arbitrarily within 1V to 1400V, and the leakage current of the tested component at that voltage can be displayed.
3. Lock the measurement status
Unlike the "automatic" measurement state, the testing program in this state will remain in the leakage current measurement state each time (until the "test" button is released). This function is used to observe the stability of leakage current of varistors.
*The voltage is set to five ranges of 70V, 200V, 600V, 1000V, and 1400V, displayed on a four and a half digit LED digital voltmeter with an accuracy of ± 0.5%+2 words within the range of 5V to 1400V.
*The current is set to three ranges of 20uA, 200uA, and 2mA, displayed as a three and a half digit LED digital value with an accuracy of ± 2%+0.2uA.
*The communication component should not exceed ± 1%+0.1V within the range of 5V to 1400V.
*Polarity measurement: Equipped with a "reverse" button, the polarity of the voltage/current applied to the tested component can be changed.
*There are three ways to start an "automatic" testing program:
