1、 Instrument Introduction:


The new thermal expansion instrument DIL 402 Expes C from Nike integrates cutting-edge technology in the field of thermal expansion measurement and is designed for professional applications in a wide range of fields. All models in the DIL Expedia series are based on the revolutionary NanoEye measurement system, reaching new heights in both measurement range and accuracy.

Integrated design, long service life
The DIL 402 Expedias Classic can be equipped with either a single sample system or a dual sample/differential system. The instrument is designed as an integrated system, and both versions of the host have integrated all the hardware required for precise measurement of thermal expansion. There are neither extra external cables nor the need for an additional cooling water bath.
Expedia Classic is easy to operate and safe, maintenance free, with a long service life and low workload, ensuring smooth production for users. The unique design of the system makes the replacement of the sample holder very simple, avoiding the risk of damaging the holder.
Superior airtightness and insulation design are prerequisites for achieving precise results in a predetermined atmosphere. The airtight design and integrated gas flow device can ensure a pure measurement atmosphere. The gas passes directly through the measuring unit and sample chamber. The good insulation of the sample chamber avoids temperature fluctuations caused by the environment.

Simple operation
For the sample testing of the new DIL 402, using a pre-set testing program can simplify the operator's testing preparation process.
The MultiTouch function of the instrument can achieve the most accurate sample loading effect through the unique tail type top sample operation. Under the pre-set contact force, the initial length of the sample can be automatically measured. The closure of the furnace body has a buffering effect, ensuring the stability of the sample position.
The thermocouple position of DIL 402 Expedias can be flexibly adjusted to accommodate different sample lengths. By guiding the rod, the thermocouple can be adjusted to a suitable position that matches the length of the sample, without the need to bend the thermocouple.
The replacement of the furnace body is also very simple and does not require specialized experience. With just a few clicks, you can start testing.

Contact force control
Precise contact force control enables the operator to test small samples, fine, brittle samples or foam samples, so as to ensure that the samples are not damaged or undergo irreversible deformation, and maintain the consistency of contact pressure throughout the test process.
This feature enables even different operators to ensure good repeatability of the measured sample length. Sliding, rolling friction, and viscous effects can all be avoided in this measurement system.

Identify is a unique DIL curve recognition technology in the industry, which includes search software and hundreds of reference data from multiple built-in databases, covering the fields of ceramics, inorganic materials, metals, alloys, polymers, and organic compounds. In addition to the database provided by Nike, customers can also create their own database and share it with other users through the internal network.
By using curve recognition technology, matching and searching in the database based on the absolute expansion, shape, and slope of the test curve, unknown samples can be identified and analyzed. A known sample can also be used as a standard to compare and evaluate a batch of unknown samples for quality control. Finally, all test data can be stored in a large database for subsequent sample identification or quality control.
