It can collect water samples from oceans, lakes, and rivers for oil content analysis, as well as for routine analysis. It is a device for investigating water pollution status. Since its development, more than 1000 units of this water sampler have been produced. It is one of the designated water samplers for marine pollution monitoring networks and also one of the standard water samplers for secondary marine pollution baseline surveys.
